Pricing benchmarks
Know what everyone else pays. Then negotiate.
Pricing benchmarks have been locked behind five-figure paywalls that keep the data and sell you the service. StackIQ is opening them up. Upload 5 contracts, see what other companies pay for the same products, and walk into your next renewal holding the number.
Free. No sales call. Contracts are anonymized before anything is shared.
The vendor has the data. You are about to sign for three years without it.
Every vendor quotes you as if you are the only customer. The renewal lands with a 7% uplift, procurement asks for leverage, and there is none to be had because nobody in the building knows what the company next door pays for the same seats. If you have ever searched for how to get leverage when a SaaS contract is coming up for renewal, this is the answer: the number. Managed negotiation services will find it for you, for $36k to $78k a year, and keep it. Benchmark subscriptions are priced for the Fortune 500. Everyone else negotiates blind, and signs for years.
Benchmark your contracts in three steps
Upload 5 contracts.
PDFs, order forms, or renewal quotes. StackIQ's document intelligence extracts vendor, product, seat count, unit price, term, and uplift automatically. You do not fill in a form.
See your benchmark.
For each contract you get your effective price per seat (or per unit) against the range other companies pay for the same product, and a flag on every line that sits above the range. That flag is your opening position.
Keep contributing, keep winning.
Add contracts as they renew and your benchmarks stay live. Every upload tightens the ranges for everyone, including you.
We are building the largest open benchmark set for software pricing
Pricing data only works when enough companies share it, and until now the only people collecting it were selling it back at a markup. We are commoditizing it on purpose, and we are not being modest about the goal: every product a company renews, benchmarked from real contracts, open to the people who sign them. Your contracts are anonymized at upload. Company name, signatories, and identifying terms are stripped before any price point enters the set. What remains is the product, the volume band, and the price, which is exactly what you need to negotiate and nothing a vendor could trace back to you.
Early access, and why it is worth more now
We are building the set now, so early members get what later members will not. Every contract you upload benchmarks against everything already in the set, and we tell you plainly when a vendor has too few data points to call. Where a benchmark is thin, StackIQ layers in its own pricing intelligence (list-price analysis, renewal uplift patterns, and the contract structures we have seen in customer work) so you still walk into the room with a number. And the ranges you help build are the ranges you negotiate against next year. This page will show live coverage as the set grows.
Frequently asked questions
Is it actually free?
Yes. The benchmark tier is funded by contributions, not subscriptions. StackIQ's paid platform (renewal tracking, overlap analysis, AI replacement) sits on top and is optional.
What happens to my contracts?
They are parsed, anonymized, and stored under the same SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 controls as the rest of StackIQ. No other member ever sees your document or your company name.
Which vendors are covered?
Coverage grows with every upload. Today it is strongest in the tools companies renew most often (collaboration, CRM, support, security, and Microsoft agreements). Upload yours and we will tell you immediately how many data points exist for each product.
Why 5 contracts?
Five is enough to seed useful ranges and small enough to gather in an afternoon from your renewal folder.
How is this different from Vendr?
Vendr negotiates on your behalf for a fee and keeps the pricing data. StackIQ gives you the data and lets you win the negotiation yourself, or hands it to a partner like NPI Financial if you want help at the table.
